It all started with a kiss! A Stolen Kiss Rosé back in 2006, when winemaker Malcolm Rees-Francis 'stole' some Pinot Noir grapes that were destined for Rockburn's flagship Central Otago Pinot Noir and turned them into one of the country's first premium Rosé wines. Once unleashed into your glass its candy-floss and crème-brûlée aromas shall sashay into a flirtatious toffee-apple and simmering strawberry palate smeared with cherry lip-gloss; most fun to drink chilled on sultry summer afternoons and evenings.

This Central Otago Pinot Noir is lavishly layered with sweet, ripe, red berries, underpinned with savoury characters and a touch of spice.

Flavours of passionfruit, grapefruit and crisp green apple with a salty minerality. Pale green in colour. Intense tropical aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit and green apple with a hint of jalapeño pepper. Herbaceous, rich and weighty with flavours of white stone fruit, grapefruit pith and blackcurrant. The palate has a generous mouthfeel with a salty minerality and a clean fresh finish.

Rows are planted north-east to south-west at a 43 degree angle rather than the typical north to south. This leads to slightly greener characters in grapes on the south facing side and more tropical characters in grapes on the north facing side. The resulting wine is therefore multi-dimensional and complex. The site is cooler than some other areas of the valley and hence slower to ripen. The distinguishing flavours are crushed herbs (often associated with the coastal Awatere region) and an absence of sweaty characteristics.

Elegant, poised aromas of tropical passionfruit and ripe blackcurrant combine with a subtle saline note. The palate is full and lush with rich flavours of passionfruit, blackcurrant and fresh grapefruit.

Free spirit in a bottle - SAINT X captures the free and authentic spirit of the Mediterranean. On the palate, this Rosé is refreshingly crisp and lively. The Grenache imparts a juicy, red-fruited core with flavors of ripe cherries and red currants. Syrah contributes a gentle spiciness, with notes of white pepper and a touch of lavender. Cinsault brings a delicate, silky texture, along with flavors of pink grapefruit and a hint of tart cranberry. A small but important addition of Viognier and Rolle complete the wine with some floral aromas of white blossoms and hints of apricots. A perfect balance of freshness, precision and spontaneity.

The Seifried Nelson Chardonnay is rich and ripe with stone fruits and spice on the nose. The palate is smooth and velvety with layers of tropical fruit and nutty characters leaving a generous warm finish.

The Seifried Nelson Gewurztraminer is intense and perfumed on the nose with notes of toffee apples and stem ginger. The palate is luscious with medium natural residual sweetness.

The Seifried Nelson Pinot Gris has luscious aromatics with nashi pear and spiced stewed rhubarb notes. The palate is succulent and flavoursome with juicy pear and ginger. The wine is just off-dry leaving a long tasty spicey finish.

The Seifried Nelson Riesling is beautifully scented, with floral and citrus notes. The palate is flavoursome with delightful elderflower, apple and lime notes leaving a long lasting finish on the wine.

The Seifried Nelson Sauvignon Blanc has layers of tropical fruit on the nose with passionfruit, melon and fresh basil notes. The palate is well balanced showing generous fruit weight and lingering flavours, supported by clean acidity leaving a long finish.

The Seifried Winemakers Collection Sweet Agnes' Riesling is succulent and enticing on the nose with candied citrus peel and honeysuckle. The palate explodes with flavours of concentrated dried apricots, toffee apples and appealing acidity running the length of the wine leaving a long and tasty finish.
