It all started with a kiss! A Stolen Kiss Rosé back in 2006, when winemaker Malcolm Rees-Francis 'stole' some Pinot Noir grapes that were destined for Rockburn's flagship Central Otago Pinot Noir and turned them into one of the country's first premium Rosé wines. Once unleashed into your glass its candy-floss and crème-brûlée aromas shall sashay into a flirtatious toffee-apple and simmering strawberry palate smeared with cherry lip-gloss; most fun to drink chilled on sultry summer afternoons and evenings.

RUA Pinot Noir has a rich and generous palate, with black cherry, raspberry and plum notes supported by vanilla and classic Central Otago dried herbs. A subtle spiciness adds to the complexity. The silky tannins are well integrated in this fresh and vibrant Central Otago Pinot Noir.

This Central Otago Pinot Noir is lavishly layered with sweet, ripe, red berries, underpinned with savoury characters and a touch of spice.

Ruffino Chianti DOCG is an approachable, easy-drinking wine that has predominantly fruity and floral aromatics, with hints of spice and hazelnut. The palate is soft with a medium body and nice balance, displaying pleasantly fruity characteristics.

The bouquet is fragrant and bursting with fruit notes. It shows clean aromas of apples, pears, and citrus, accompanied by hints of wisteria. Crisp, clean, and delicate with fine bubbles on the palate. Intense flavours of apples and peaches lead to a pleasant finish with lingering fruit and floral notes.

Ruffino Sparkling Rosé is fresh and fragrant with notes of strawberry and slight hints of rose petals. On the palate this wine has elegant bubbles and refreshing acidity, offering alluring flavours of delicate red berries and white fruits that linger through the finish.

Flavours of passionfruit, grapefruit and crisp green apple with a salty minerality. Pale green in colour. Intense tropical aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit and green apple with a hint of jalapeño pepper. Herbaceous, rich and weighty with flavours of white stone fruit, grapefruit pith and blackcurrant. The palate has a generous mouthfeel with a salty minerality and a clean fresh finish.

Rows are planted north-east to south-west at a 43 degree angle rather than the typical north to south. This leads to slightly greener characters in grapes on the south facing side and more tropical characters in grapes on the north facing side. The resulting wine is therefore multi-dimensional and complex. The site is cooler than some other areas of the valley and hence slower to ripen. The distinguishing flavours are crushed herbs (often associated with the coastal Awatere region) and an absence of sweaty characteristics.

Elegant, poised aromas of tropical passionfruit and ripe blackcurrant combine with a subtle saline note. The palate is full and lush with rich flavours of passionfruit, blackcurrant and fresh grapefruit.

A delicious sparkling Rosé with a rich round palate incorporating flavours of crushed strawberries with a fine, lively bubble. Pale salmon in colour. Lifted floral aromas of cherry blossom. Crisp, fresh and full of crushed strawberry flavours. Dry and elegant in style with a very fine mousse enlivening the palate.

Free spirit in a bottle - SAINT X captures the free and authentic spirit of the Mediterranean. On the palate, this Rosé is refreshingly crisp and lively. The Grenache imparts a juicy, red-fruited core with flavors of ripe cherries and red currants. Syrah contributes a gentle spiciness, with notes of white pepper and a touch of lavender. Cinsault brings a delicate, silky texture, along with flavors of pink grapefruit and a hint of tart cranberry. A small but important addition of Viognier and Rolle complete the wine with some floral aromas of white blossoms and hints of apricots. A perfect balance of freshness, precision and spontaneity.
